We train the clients to be able to set the right requirements for base contractors and subcontractors according to legislation.
Work environment responsibility always start with the customer, the client. In Swedish, the customer is called “Byggherre”. With BAS PU Clients we teach the costumer how to set the right requirements.
During building and civil engineering, the Work Environment Act legally requires two co-ordinators, one BAS P for the planning phaze and one BAS U for the performing phaze. These two are to coordinate safety, regardless of the size of the work. Those two roles must be assigned by the Client, the “Byggherre”. This requirement is due to smaller works and service jobs as well. The co-ordinators must have verified training, competence and experience enough for the role in relation to the work intended.
The Client can let a Contractor or a clients delegee take all such responsibilities if the work is done independently and there is a written contract regarding the responsibility transfer. The Work Environment Act still claim responsibility for the Client even in these cases.
So how can a Client know how to feel confidence in an entrepreneur, regarding the level of law in work environment and safety? That’s what Byggsäkerhet teaches.
The course is intended for customers, project leaders, chairmen of tenant or others with responsibilities within building and civil engineering work on such level including control of internal capabilities in work environment and safety.
The course will give you fundamental knowledge about Swedish law regarding work environment and how to manage work environment issues, with focus on how requirements, expectations and cooperation will function at its finest with an entrepreneur that take over the work environment responsibility.
We undertake assignments from all over Sweden, both on-site and remotely, and are happy to come to you! We also offer both open courses and customized training. Regardless of the setup, all our sessions are instructor led – for both small and large groups – providing a solid, in-depth, and well-balanced education that delivers knowledge, understanding, and reasoning skills.
The course takes one day.
5,500 SEK/person. The price includes course materials, as well as a course certificate after completion of the training.
Price ex 3 participants 14.000 SEK, distance live Zoom/Teams or on site, for distance more than 50 km from Gothenburg travel expenses are added, (additional participants 3.500 SEK each).
Price ex 6 participants 22.000 SEK, distance live Zoom/Teams or on site, for distance more than 50 km from Gothenburg travel expenses are added, (additional participants 2.500 SEK each).
Participants receives important documents; folders and in digital form. Bring your laptop or touchpad to the course and we will learn how to search for important information in current provisions. We have good experience of participants who can use google translate in between different languages to understand the intent of text in Swedish law and regulations.
Some knowledge about building and civil engineering and computing skills are beneficial. Good language in English.
